•Afteryoureplacetheprimaryharddiskdriveorsolid-statedrive,reattachthecoverofthedriveslot.
•Storeyourexternalandremovableharddiskdriveoropticaldrivesintheappropriatecontainersor
packagingwhentheyarenotbeingused.
•Beforeyouinstallanyofthefollowingdevices,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.Thisaction
reducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Staticelectricitycoulddamagethedevice.

Thefollowingactionscoulddamagethengerprintreaderorcauseitnottoworkproperly:
•Scratchingthesurfaceofthengerprintreaderwithahard,pointedobject.
•Scrapingthesurfaceofthengerprintreaderwithyourngernailoranythinghard.
•Usingortouchingthengerprintreaderwithadirtynger.
Ifyounoticeanyofthefollowingconditions,gentlycleanthesurfaceofthengerprintreaderwithadry,
soft,lint-freecloth:
•Thesurfaceofthengerprintreaderisdirtyorstained.
•Thesurfaceofthengerprintreaderiswet.
•Thengerprintreaderoftenfailstoenrollorauthenticateyourngerprint.
