Thisactionreducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Staticelectricitycoulddamagethecard.
YourcomputermightbeequippedwithawirelessWANcard.ToreplacethewirelessWANcard,doing
thefollowing:
1.Turnoffthecomputer;thendisconnecttheacpoweradapterandallcablesfromthecomputer.Wait
threetoveminutestoletthecomputercool.
2.Closethecomputerlidandturnthecomputerover.
3.Removethebatterypack.See“Replacingthebatterypack”onpage65.
4.Loosenthescrew1,andthenremovethesmallbottomcover2.
5.IfatoolisprovidedwiththenewwirelessWANcardtohelpyoudisconnectcables,usethetoolto
disconnectthecablesfromthewirelessWANcard.Ifnosuchatoolisprovided,holdthecable
connectorwithyourngersandgentlydisconnecteachcablefromthewirelessWANcard.
