Associatingyourngerprintswithyourpower-onpasswordandharddiskpassword
Toassociateyourngerprintswithyourpower-onpasswordandharddiskpassword,dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffandthenturnonthecomputer.
2.Whenprompted,swipeyourngeroverthengerprintreader.
3.Enteryourpower-onpassword,harddiskpassword,orbothasrequired.Theconnectioniscreated.
Whenyoustartthecomputeragain,youcanuseyourngerprintstologontothecomputerwithnoneedto
enteryourWindowspassword,power-onpassword,andharddiskpassword.
Attention:Ifyoualwaysuseyourngerprinttologontothecomputer,youmightforgetyourpasswords.
Writedownyourpasswords,andkeeptheminasafeplace.Ifyouforgetyourpower-onpassword,youmust
takeyourcomputertoaLenovoauthorizedserviceroramarketingrepresentativetohavethepassword
canceled.Ifyouforgetyourharddiskpassword,Lenovocannotresetyourpasswordorrecoverdata
fromtheharddiskdrive.YoumusttakeyourcomputertoaLenovoauthorizedserviceroramarketing
representativetohavetheharddiskdrivereplaced.Proofofpurchaseisrequired,andafeewillbecharged
forpartsandservice.
